My ‘Date’ with ‘Photography’

Hey friends. Hope the days are treating you’ll well! It has surely been treating me good.  I’m back as promised with a ‘new segment in My Space. I have so far brought in recipes, book reviews and general topics in my blogging. I’m here today with something different and new. The title of my post speaks a lot. I could also call it my tryst with photography. So far I had not chanced upon many opportunities to click, even if I’d got, it wasn’t that interesting one as my mobile would somehow give way. But with my lovely Xperia I couldn’t ask for anything better. Though the clicks in the interiors aren’t that impressive, the ones I’ve clicked outside have been quite amazing for me, though not marvelous.

It’s a picture clicked late in the evening and I’m surprised that the scenic beauty that has come about has left me Wow. The picture holds a special place in my heart and soul for many reasons. So I just wanted to share my photography click with the world as well. This is not my first try at photography, though. With my earlier nokia, I have tried capturing the nature at its best and have felt the thrill. But this click, being the first capture of nature from my Xperia gives me the required encouragement to try my hand at photography as well along with the numerous other tasks.
This much being about photography, let me state a bit about the place as well. This is the Kukkarahalli Lake located in the heart of Mysore City which covers a shore length of maybe, approx. 5 km. I was a visitor at this lake, maybe, about 9 years ago. Ha ha!! I’m sure most of you’ll who belong to Mysore are laughing at me. Being the typical lazy sit at home girl, I’ve never found it interesting to visit this place, probably because I didn’t have a perfect company. Last week when I was browsing for places to visit in the city, I thought why not give this place a try. But, I wasn’t sure if it’s apt for a walk. After visiting, I’m glad I did. It’s this typical calm – serene – tranquil place to spend an evening with your loved ones. The silence and the sound of the breeze in the composed environment makes your evening special.
You can either walk alongside the shore or sit and enjoy the cool breeze blowing your hair off your face. I’m sure, either of it would make your evening a special one. But, make sure you leave the place soon after sunset as you will attract a lot of tiny insects after dark.
In case, you guys plan to visit Mysore for sight -seeing, make sure you drop in at least for sometime (I’m sure you’d stay for much longer than ‘sometime’).
Hope this first step in photography ensures I get a lot of opportunities with regard the same in the near future. Looking forward to post more and more ‘nature at it’s best‘ photos in the coming days.
See you soon.
Till Then, Cheers!!!
